Asile LGBT Geneve
Allow the people concerned to benefit from a safe space to openly express their OSIEGSB
- set up support adapted to their needs
- guarantee their equal and non-discriminatory access to rights and general services
- promote collective voice on questions that concern them. LGBTI + refugees, whose number is constantly increasing, still remain mostly invisible in our host countries. This invisibility of people and their needs is a major obstacle in their access to the right to benefit from legal and social protection.
the Asile LGBT association aims to understand and combat the mechanisms of invisibility and marginalization of LGBTI + refugees through three main areas of intervention: work with LGBTI + refugees, work with the professionals in charge of their welcome and support, and the work with the Geneva population.
in order to support This work of awareness and visibility, we produce material and testimonials.B114
The Asile LGBT association welcomes and supports LGBTI + refugees (lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, intersex, + other identities of sex, gender and / or non-heterosexual and non-cisgender sexuality).
