Join ORAM for our sixth annual Refugee Pride Reception on Saturday, June 21st, in Los Angeles — a vibrant celebration of Pride Month and World Refugee Day and a rallying call for justice. We're thrilled to announce U.S. Congressman Mark Takano will be a featured speaker at the event. Congressman Takano is the first openly gay person of color elected to the House of Representatives in 2012. As we return to LA for the third consecutive year, we invite you to stand with resilient, remarkable LGBTQ refugees — and help raise critical funds to protect, empower, and uplift this underserved community.

Join us at our annual celebration in recognition of LGBTQ Pride Month and World Refugee Day, Refugee Pride in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 20th at 5:30 pm! We'll raise awareness and funds for LGBTQ refugees and asylum seekers globally. Refreshments will be provided, and we’ll be joined by special guest speakers from ORAM’s global community!

May 17th is the International Day Against Biphobia, Homophobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). This year's theme is "No one left behind: equality, freedom, and justice for all." Sadly, LGBTIQ refugees are often left behind by larger humanitarian organizations and institutions. Join ORAM for our IDAHOBIT webinar, "No LGBTIQ+ refugee left behind," where we'll speak with organizations supporting LGBTIQ refugees affected by displacement.

Join ORAM for our first fundraising event in the Bay Area in nearly five years! On Thursday, May 2nd, Beyond Borders will unite ORAM's community in Oakland to raise crucial funds and awareness for protecting and empowering LGBTIQ refugees and asylum seekers globally. Enjoy light refreshments while hearing from ORAM’s Executive Director, Steve Roth, and other members of our global community.
