Kennedy Mwangi

Kennedy Mwangi (he/him) is based in Nairobi, Kenya. He is passionate about ORAM's mission of protecting LGBTIQ asylum seekers and refugees globally. He graduated from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) in Nairobi, where he studied Business Information Technology. Before starting his role as Project Assistant, Kennedy was a Livelihoods Intern with ORAM. He also has worked in the Kenyan government under the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) as an ICT Support Officer. Bringing experience from the private sector as a former Digital Marketing Officer and his experience as ORAM’s Livelihoods Intern in Kenya, Kennedy is a vital addition to our global team.
