Kat Yushchenko

Kat Yushchenko is the founder of Hominin LLC, a marketing consultancy that supports impactful brands and creators through growth marketing strategy and execution. She’s led growth strategies that have reached millions and built programs that make complex topics — like money and tech — more accessible and engaging. Previously, she has driven marketing at Acorns, Betterment, and Ameriprise Financial.

Kat, an immigrant to Minnesota, has lived in the Twin Cities for nearly 25 years and is passionate about expanding access to opportunity. She’s held leadership roles in LGBTQ+ employee groups and volunteers with organizations including Alight and UACC. Kat earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, studying Marketing and Political Science.

She loves traveling, writing, hiking in local parks, and creating social media content in her free time.
